A walk through Segamat
Level Up Fitness Xpress Segamat is on the first floor of a shophouse row at No 17, Jalan Utama 3/2, Pusat Komersial Sri Utama, Segamat, Johor, with a restaurant at street level. There's free parking out front.
The street door is a pair of glass doors between two glowing red light pillars, beside a clothing shop. Take the stairs up and a big red Level Up logo meets you at the top. The front desk is staffed Monday to Friday 1pm to 10pm and Saturday 1pm to 6pm, so drop by then to join. Members can train any time.
Beyond the turnstile, the main floor is one long open space: pin-loaded machines on one side, and treadmills, ellipticals and bikes along the windows on the other. The turf at the far end has two rigs, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls and battle ropes. Behind a partition is the free-weights room, with a Smith machine, squat racks, a leg press and plate-loaded machines. There's also a ladies-only area behind a curtain. Ask the front desk which group classes are on.
The changing rooms have showers, hair dryers and lockers for rent. Xpress members can use all of it, any hour, every day.
